Arbonne and my Blogging Hiatus

Many apologies to those who read this blog all the time. I've been on a bit of a blogging hiatus as I try to reinvent my website. I've finished many tasks on the way to rebranding my site along with my cards, stationary, etc. Now I just need to get my ideas onto the Web and that is proving to be more work than I thought! I get one really good idea and find a really cool font, then something else comes up and I want to go another way. It's madness!! Way too many options out there. In any case, keep on the lookout in the next few weeks, I'll be updating the look of my site, then this blog to reflect that change.

On a different note, I've become a Warehouse Distributor (I think that is the name I was told) for Arbonne. What that means to me is that I can get a discount off the products that I have grown to love in the last few months. I'm telling you all this because I can extend my discount to anyone and everyone. So, if you or someone you know are interested, please don't hesitate to contact me. I don't have to 'prove' my relationship to the person - I can just give them the discount.

I don't have time to become a true consultant for them, so I'm not going to try and push anyting on you, but I do want you to know that I love some of the products. I have the whole line of facial care products from the cleanser, to the toner, lotion, exfoliant, and mask. LOVE them! I love how my face looks and feels since I've started to use them. In addition, I bought their mineral foundation and some make up. I really like a lot of it (not all - but it's more because it wasn't my style than anything). I also bought an eye cream because I HATE the dark circles under my eyes and it truly seems to have helped.

Mexico Wedding Images!

I have been given the 'go-ahead' to post some of my favorite images from Jessica and Dameone's wedding. I can't stress how much fun this was. Everyone who was there made it such a fun and special time. It was like a three day long party and was just the BEST!!!

I wanted to stress how awesome the staff at the Coral Princess is. They did everything so perfectly. I strongly urge anyone considering a Mexican destination wedding to consider them. it was all amazing! They are located right on the beach of Cozumel. It was one of the cleanest, nicest sands I've ever put my feet in. They really do a great job.

Maddy Graduates Preschool

As if the las few weeks were not busy enough...Maddy had to go and graduate from preschool!!! She has been going twice a week in the afternoon all year to Mansfield Children's School. I can't tell you how much I love the program there.

They had a cute little family picnic at Capron Park. The kids spent the whole time playing at the playground. I was completely enjoying myself - so much that I almost forgot to take pictures (if you can believe that!). I got a few really cute snapshots of the kids playing. Note, as you look through them, how Maddy is always climbing. That girl has no fear!!!

Home Sweet Home!

I've never been soooooooooooo happy to be home! I spent most of today unpacking, doing laundry, opening mail, and mowing the lawn. Now I need a vacation!!!



I'm trying to get my pics off the hubby's computer, which doesn't want to cooperate. Once I can get them backed up, you will see them!

I want to say a great big thank you to everyone who was there - you all made it a very special week/day. It was AWESOME!

Stuck in Mexico!

Well, our standby flights were all full, so we are officially stuck in Cancun. What an adventure!!

At least we have internet access now! Just wanted to do a quick post to say "hi" to all we haven't seen in a while and to say that we had a blast in Mexico!!! I will share one image of the wedding...more will come once I clear it with the bride & groom!

Maddy's Birthday Party

Friday night was Maddy's 4th birthday party. It was soooooooooo much fun - thank you to everyone who came. I wanted to keep it very small, since we as a family are in the middle of one of the most hectic times of life. Maddy was getting a little antsy, so I let her open one gift in the morning before school. She was sooooooooooo excited to get a new bathing suit and towel that she insisted on putting it on immediately. I almost couldn't get her to put real clothes on for school!

Here's the cake...I baked the cake, then brought it t my mother-in-law's house so she could help me decorate it. This was the first time I ever attempted a cake like this, but I think we did GOOD!!! Maddy liked it, which was really all that mattered to me.
